TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Friday that the first COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Florida and will be the first state to begin vaccinating residents of long term care facilities.

“This week the vaccine arrived in Florida & we became the first state in the nation to begin vaccinating residents of long-term care facilities,” said Gov. DeSantis.

“I also met with small business owners and restaurant employees who spoke about their experiences during the pandemic.”
