Rescue Crews Respond to Head-On Crash on N. Courtenay Pkwy. in Merritt Island, One Person Hospitalized

Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a crash on N. Courtenay Pkwy. and Crockett Blvd. in Merritt Island on Tuesday that involved a head-on crash between two vehicles.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a crash on N. Courtenay Pkwy. and Crockett Blvd. in Merritt Island on Tuesday that involved a head-on crash between two vehicles.

The crash resulted in the entrapment and extrication of at least 1 one of the occupants inside the two vehicles.

One person was taken to the hospital via medical helicopter, while two people refused medical treatment.

The crash happened around 7 p.m.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
