BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking Joel Irizarry in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Rotary Park in Melbourne.

In this episode Sheriff Ivey is seeking Joel Irizarry who is wanted for an outstanding warrant:

– Violation of Felony Probation reference Possession of Meth

Sheriff Ivey says Irizarry is known to be in the “waters of the Merritt Island area” and was last “hooked” on January 23, 2020.

Irizarry has no bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
