On Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, officials from Brevard County Emergency Management, Brevard County Housing and Human Services, Brevard Public Schools and the Florida Department of Health will host a Facebook and YouTube Live event beginning at 11:30 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Officials from Brevard County Emergency Management, Brevard County Housing and Human Services, Brevard Public Schools and the Florida Department of Health will host a Facebook and YouTube Live event on Thursday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

These events are held on a bi-weekly basis and are Brevard County Government’s way to provide residents with the latest updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDOH-Brevard vaccination program, an update on schools and other COVID-related information on programs the County has in place to help residents impacted economically by the pandemic.

Due to limited vaccine supplies allocated by the state to Brevard County, many residents have been contacting our agencies with concerns about lack of appointment availability, questions about the County’s use of the Internet program EventBrite to schedule appointments, concerns about second shot availability, and questions on whether the County plans to broaden its vaccination efforts to other areas of the county to assist residents who do not have access to computers, the Internet, or text messages, or access to transportation.

Normally our program is completed by noon, but we will take additional time if necessary to respond to as many questions as possible.

Please join us at 11:30 a.m. on Facebook at Brevard County Emergency Management, or on YouTube at @SCGTV499.
