Eastern Florida Announces Men’s Basketball Schedule, Opens Season on Jan. 20 vs. Palm Beach State College

Titans are coming off a 22-win season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will open the regular season on Jan. 20 and play 22 games this season.

The Titans are coming off a 22-win season and were co-champions of the Mid-Florida Conference.

The men’s basketball program has at least shared the conference championship eight straight years and has won at least 20 games in each of the past nine seasons.

The men will open against Palm Beach State College on Jan. 20 before hitting the road for a game against the State College of Florida Manatee on Jan. 23.

The men’s basketball team will open the Central Conference schedule on Feb. 6 on the road at St. Petersburg College.

Daytona State College, the Florida State College at Jacksonville, Hillsborough Community College, Polk State College, and Santa Fe are also in the Central Conference this season.

The Titans bring back four players from last year’s team including Nick Alves who was a Mid-Florida Conference second-team player last year, averaging 9.6 points and four rebounds per game.

The FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament is scheduled to begin April 7 at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, fans will not be allowed to attend men’s basketball games to begin the season. Some games will be shown live on YouTube at EFSC Titans YouTube page.
