FATAL CRASH: 27-Year-Old Cocoa Woman Dies in Motorcycle Crash on State Road 520

Florida Highway Patrol is currently on the scene of deadly crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Cox Road and Fisherman’s Place in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A 27-year-old Cocoa woman has died after a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in Cocoa near State Road 520 and Cox Rd.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was on her motorcycle aroun 3:35 p.m. when she attempted to turn right on red off 520 and but turned into the direct path of a truck driven by a 35-year-old Indialantic man.

The woman died at the scene of the crash, according to state troopers.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol will not release the identity of the individuals involved in the crash due to a recent order signed to protect victims identities of crashes in Florida.
