Illinois Teenager Kyle Rittenhouse Pleads Not Guilty to Fatal Kenosha Protest Shootings

(WESH) – An Illinois teenager accused of killing two men during protests in Kenosha after the police shooting of Jacob Blake pleaded not guilty on Tuesday during a virtual hearing.

Kyle Rittenhouse of Antioch was 17 at the time of Aug. 25, 2020, shootings.

He was charged with five felonies, including first-degree reckless homicide with a dangerous weapon, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety with a dangerous weapon, first-degree intentional homicide with a dangerous weapon, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide with a dangerous weapon.
