BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is coming up this Saturday, January 9.

The Palm Bay Police Department created a Facebook frame if you would like to show your support and appreciation for Palm Bay Police Department staff.

You can also show your support in several other ways, such as:

■ Wearing blue clothing
■  Sending a card of support to your local police department or a state agency
■  Sharing a story about a positive law enforcement experience on social media
■  Asking children in the community to write letters in support of law enforcement

“Remember, this week especially, if you see a police officer, thank them for their service,” said Palm Bay Police Department officials.
