BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — I had the honor of speaking to members of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce about the various components of our agency during their monthly luncheon at “Promise in Brevard.

I always enjoy speaking at the event as it gives me an opportunity to discuss with our community the various things we are doing as an agency to help keep Brevard County and it’s citizens safe.

During today’s presentation I had the opportunity to share with the attendees information about our various K-9 Units, the Paws and Stripes Program that uses inmates to train child comfort dogs, our Aviation Unit, our Bomb Unit and also how our Crime Rate has dropped approximately 42% in the past 8 years.

And of course we also had the chance to have a few laughs as we showed everyone just how big “Junny” is by having him sit next to my great friend, Mayor Hal Rose of West Melbourne.

A huge thank you to Nancy Peltonen for inviting me to speak at today’s event, Promise in Brevard for hosting such an amazing function and of course everyone who attended for all they do in our community to make Brevard County such a great place to call home.
