WATCH: In the latest edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” Steve Wilson talks with Dimas Cintron, who lost his seven-year-old son to cancer approximately five years ago. He has recently released a book entitled, “No Footprint is too Small,” about how to cope with the loss of a child. Dimas talks about the book, a non-profit foundation created in his son’s memory, and much more in this exclusive interview.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Dimas Cintron, originally from Cleveland, Ohio made his way to central Florida in 2001. A few short years later, he became the father to a very special little boy, Dimas Armani Cintron, Jr.

Dimas, Armani, or “Little D” was a typical little boy, he loved sports, especially basketball. And, he was quite good at it. Things were going well until he started to have balance problems. After a series of exams, the unthinkable was the diagnosis. Dimas had cancer.

After a courageous battle, Dimas passed away on February 15, 2016, at the age of seven. However, he has not left us. Cintron has written a book entitled, “No Footprint is Too Small.”

It is a special book, in that not only can it help those cope with the loss of a child, but anyone that has had to deal with death.

Cintron has also written a song about his son, entitled “Get Up,” that can be viewed on YouTube.
