64-Year-Old Cocoa Man Killed Saturday Night in Motorcycle Crash on I-95 Near Port St. John

A 64-year-old Cocoa man was killed Saturday night when he was thrown off the motorcycle he was riding during a multi-vehicle incident.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 64-year-old Cocoa man was killed Saturday night when he was thrown off the motorcycle he was riding during a multi-vehicle incident on I-95 in Port St. John.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist, and a sedan driven by a 20-year-old Cocoa woman collided, which threw the motorcyclist under a disabled and unoccupied pickup truck that was parked on the west shoulder of I-95.

A sports utility vehicle that was traveling southbound on I-95 ran into the motorcycle as it lay in the southbound lanes.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released and the crash remains under investigation.
