Brevard County Fire Rescue Seeks New Ocean Lifeguards, Try-Out Dates Begin March 13

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Interested in becoming an Ocean Lifeguard for the 2021 season?

Brevard County Fire Rescue currently has scheduled March 13 as the next try-out date.

You must preregister and apply in advance by emailing FR_ORAdmin@brevardfl.gov with your name, phone number for location information.

Applicants will be processed on a first come first serve basis. Brevard County Fire Rescue’s goal is to fill 25 positions so please forward this to anyone interested in a rewarding experience on a great team.

For those that pass and move on with the hiring process, you will receive an email after the tryouts with the next steps in the process (background, fingerprints, drug screening).

You must be able to attend all of the dates listed below:

■ April 17, 18, 24, 25, 26
■ May 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16

Note that CPR, EMR, and USLA training is all paid training. The dates are subject to change due to ocean conditions.
