Brevard Environmental Roundtable Hosted by ReThink Energy Florida Set for Thursday Night

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – ReThink Energy Florida will host a Brevard Environmental Roundtable on Thursday, Feb. 25 to discuss Environmental and Resiliency projects, along with plans that are currently underway and that are happening in the near future.

The roundtable will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include various mayors across Brevard County municipalities including the following participants:

■ Mayor Paul Alfrey, Melbourne
■ Mayor Steve Osmer, Satellite Beach
■ Mayor Ben Malik, Cocoa Beach
■ Mayor Wyatt Hoover, Melbourne Beach

The roundtable will be moderated by Greg Pallone, an award winning journalist from News Channel 13.

It will also be hosted by Zach Newton, co-founder of Eco Earth Friends and Youth Environmental Advocate.

Among the topics of conversation will include projects in renewable and clean energy, along with resources available to help create a more resilient future for the community.

The discussion will also feature local expert Zachary Eichholz, Sustainability Program Manager, Resilience Planner, and Deputy Incident Commander for the City of Cape Canaveral.
