Florida Tech Basketball Tips Off Season on Wednesday After Delayed Start Due to COVID-19

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech basketball will open up a new season on Wednesday at Barry in Miami Shores after a prolonged delay start to the season due to COVID-19.

The game starts at 5 p.m.

According to the Florida Tech schedule, the Panthers will have a short recovery after today’s game as they will return home and play Barry again tomorrow at 5 p.m.

Florida Tech released a statement that with the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff in mind, there will be no fans permitted at Florida Tech games this season.

Florida Tech is coming off last season with 11-17 overall record.

The 2021 roster features five freshmen, two sophomores, three juniors and three seniors.
