Mims Woman, 62, Dies in Vehicle Crash on US-1 in Volusia County

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 62-year-old Mims woman has died after she was involved in a vehicle crash along US-1 and Kennedy Parkway in Volusia County late Thursday night.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 9 p.m. where they discovered had died at the scene of the crash.
The preliminary investigation shows the woman was driving northbound on US-1 when she attempted to make a left turn from US-1 to Kennedy Parkway and crashed into a vehicle driven by 54-year-old man from Edgewater.
The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash,
