Vehicle Crash on I-95 in Port St. John Kills One Person from New York, Driver Suffers Minor Injuries

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-95 that happened Friday afternoon near mile marker 208 in Port St. John.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-95 that happened Friday afternoon near mile marker 208 in Port St. John.

The result of the crash killed a 27-year-old male passenger from Port Chester, New York. The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old male from Port Chester, New York, suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

The preliminary investigation has shown that the vehicle was traveling northbound on I-95 around 2:50 p.m. when the driver lost control, struck a guardrail and a crash attenuator.

The passenger inside the vehicle later died at the hospital.
