The Space Coast is home to approximately 70,000 veterans, which, according to the VA, makes Brevard home of the second-highest vets per capita in the country.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson hosts another episode of “Stories of Service,” with Marine Corps League Brevard County Detachment Commandant Vinnie Howard. 

The Marine Corps League of Brevard provides an opportunity for Honorably Discharged Marine, FMF Navy Corpsmen and Chaplains to continue to serve and reconnect with fellow service members.

The Friday Night Locker Room and Space Coast Daily have recently partnered with the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, at 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway, in Merritt Island.

“Stories of Service” showcases upcoming events for the Memorial Center and what they have to offer while promoting other veterans’ events to be held around the county.

The Space Coast is home to approximately 70,000 veterans, which, according to the VA, makes Brevard home of the second-highest vets per capita in the country.

“Stories of Service,” spotlights a different veteran at the conclusion of each show, which appears live on Space Coast Daily TV and will be archived immediately for subsequent viewing.
