WATCH: World War II veteran Dominick DeMonaco, 99, of Titusville, Florida, was recognized by St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care for his service to our country. DeMonaco served in the U. S. Air Force during the war and his family was on hand for the celebration. The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson was on hand for the ceremony.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Dominick DeMonaco, a 99-year-old World War II veteran from Titusville, was recently recognized by St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care as part of their “We Honor Veterans” program.

DeMonaco served in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1945 and several family members were with him at his home in Titusville for the presentation, including his great-granddaughter Stephanie Lane, who drove over from Tampa for the ceremony.

Lane talked about how proud she is of her great-grandfather, and that they have been “celebrating him for years now.”
