18-Year-Old Man Dies in Crash on I-95 Near Sebastian, 16-Year-Old Melbourne Girl Injured

An 18-year-old man has died on Saturday after a car he was driving on I-95 crashed into a pole near mile marker 162 in Sebastian.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – An 18-year-old man from Coral Springs has died on Saturday after a car he was driving on I-95 crashed into a pole near mile marker 162 in Sebastian.

A 16-year-old girl, who was a passenger inside the vehicle, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to FHP, for an unknown reason, the driver was driving northbound on I-95 when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a pole.

The crash happened around 12:45 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
