BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The annual Thunder on Cocoa Beach Superboat races will return to Florida’s Space Coast on May 20-23 after having to cancel last year’s event due to COVID-19.

The event features four days and nights of parties, concerts and lots of racing action.

The Space Coast Super Boat Grand Prix is one of the most popular attractions for the whole family in Central Florida.

It is one of the largest in Central Florida and draws some the top race teams in the World to compete in various classes with the premier class reaching speeds over 175 mph.

Freedom Fighter is the official charity of Thunder on Cocoa Beach.

Freedom Fighter is a local non-profit started by Jenny Pruett the owner of Juice ‘N Java. Freedom Fighter supports abolishing human trafficking in our local community and the world.

The race will make their first turn near the Minutemen Cswy. with the second turn happening at the Cocoa Beach Pier.

The race will start and end at near Lori Wilson Park.

MAY 20 (THURSDAY)
High Octane Kick-Off Party 6pm – 10pm Juice ‘N Java- Cocoa Beach

MAY 21 (FRIDAY)
9am-5pm – Registration & Inspection: Race Village- Racer Village Flounder Dr

5pm – 10pm Thunder on Cocoa Beach Block Party – Downtown Cocoa Beach- Meet the racers

6pm-10pm VIP PARTY/ Meet the Racers

MAY 22 (SATURDAY)
11am-5pm – Vendor Village/Dry Pitts Open – Power Boats and Race Teams at Port Canaveral in front of the Exploration Tower

10- 4pm – Wet Hot Pit’s in the Water w/ VIP Viewing

10-3pm – Jet Ski & Small Boat Racing (VIP Chalet available at Lori Wilson & Coconuts)

1pm – 4pm – Race the Racers RC BOAT RACING —Tower pond

4pm – 6pm – Freedom Fighter Program & Live Music

5pm – Autograph Session with the Racers

6pm-10pm – VIP Party/ Meet the Racers – Rising Tide Port Canaveral

9am-4pm – Launching @ Blue Points Marina

9am-4pm – Power Boats in Dry Pits: Race Village Flounder Dr.

10am – 4pm – VIP Hospitality Tent @ Lori Wilson (Beach Side)

10am – Start of 1st Race

5pm-10pm – Official After Burner Party

7pm – Awards Presentation- Dry Pits by Cape Canaveral Tower
