Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Suspect Shown on ‘Wheel of Fugitive’ Episode

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Even though Brandon Dean Munson was not picked as the “Fugitive of the Week” when he appeared as a participant on the March 9 episode of “Wheel of Fugitive®️,“ it didn’t stop a citizen from contacting our agency and telling us where we could find him.

Following a tip from one of our citizens the Fugitive Unit located Munson in the West Melbourne area near U.S. Highway 192 and Doherty Drive.

Munson was quickly taken into custody on two outstanding Violation Of Probation Warrants for Violation of Drug Offender Probation, Reference to Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Controlled Substance, (Heroin) Without a Prescription.

A search of Munson incident to his arrest, located 17.1 grams of MDMA (Trafficking Weight,) 2 grams of Heroin, 2 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and $634.

As a result of the drugs found in his possession, Munson was additionally charged with numerous narcotic violations as well as an additional charge of “On-site Violation Of Probation” since he is currently on felony probation, which by the way, doesn’t appear to be working very well.

Munson was subsequently transported to the Brevard County Jail where he is now being held on a “no bond” status.

Munson’s arrest and the seizure of a trafficking amount of narcotics is yet another perfect example of what happens when citizens and law enforcement partner together to keep their community safe!
