The AACCC, founded in 1964 by four auto enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and restoration of antique and classic automobiles, has grown to more than 150 members.

In 1984, the club was granted a charter by the Antique Automobile Club of America, a national organization of nearly 80,000 members.
