Eastern Florida State Baseball Face South Georgia State in Doubleheader at Bruce Bochy Field

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will host South Georgia State College for a doubleheader Friday at Bruce Bochy Field.

The doubleheader, originally scheduled for Saturday, will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday.

The Titans come into the game 8-11 overall and are fifth in the state in strikeouts per nine innings, averaging 11.31. Sophomore starting pitcher Darien Smith is tied for the lead in the nation with 42 strikeouts in six starts this season.

South Georgia State College is 11-1 on the season and comes into the week hitting .346 as a team.

Fans are welcome to Bruce Bochy Field and admission is free but fans are required to wear a mask while on campus and socially distant when possible.
