BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team defeated Florida National University 7-0 on Friday afternoon.

The Titans, who are No. 4 in the latest Oracle/ITA NJCAA rankings, won every match in straight sets.

Dario Kmet and Ramiro Rincon teamed up for a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles, while Mikar Fisher and Sergio Gomez Boiz won 6-0 at No. 2 doubles and Tomas Reche and Bernardo Viera won 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.

Reche, Kmet, Rincon, Gomez, and Vieira all picked up singles wins along with Luc Pasqual Camps who won at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-0.

The Titans will compete in the Western Gate Tennis Invitational March 19-21, facing No. 23 Meridian Community College on Friday, then on Saturday, they begin the day against No. 1 Tyler Junior College followed by No. 10 Wallace State in the afternoon.

Then on Sunday, the Titans will wrap up the big weekend of tennis against No. 5 Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
