Eastern Florida State Women’s Golf Team Finish 3rd in Seminole State Spring Break Invitational

Titans compete in Dalton State Roadrunner Invitational April 12-13

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team finished third in the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational at Timacuan Golf and Country Club in Lake Mary.

Sophomore Elise Boccabella shot a 76 to finish tied for fifth with a 150 in the invitational. Teammate Valeria Fort also shot a 76 on Wednesday to finish 14th overall.

Kira Shellman shot an 84 and finished 17th, while Olivia Timpy placed 21st and Gabrielle Fernandez was 22nd.

Host Seminole State College won the event, shooting rounds of 285 and 289 for a 574.

“Solid play by Elise this week and good comeback round by Valeria,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said. “We have plenty of work to get done but plenty of time to do so before our next event at Dalton State.”

The Titans will compete in the Dalton State Roadrunner Invitational in Cohutta, Georgia April 12 and 13.
