Firefighters Extinguish Garage Fire in Merritt Island on Acorn Street, No Injuries Reported

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Firefighters in Merritt Island extinguished a garage fire during the overnight on the 700 block of Acorn Street.

Brevard County Fire Rescue first responded to the scene of the fire around 2:30 a.m.

Officials say nobody was injured and occupants were out of the structure by the time firefighters arrived on scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
