(24/7 Sports) – Battling Florida State for a spot in the Elite Eight Sunday evening, the Michigan men’s basketball team could not have looked more fitting for the role.

Behind a defensive clinic, a dominant offensive post presence in the second half, and a mistake-free game against a team that couldn’t say the same, the Wolverines’ NCAA Tournament run continued in dominant fashion.

On the same day that Isaiah Livers was formally ruled out for the season, his backup Brandon Johns Jr. scored a season-high 14 points to go with six rebounds.

Hunter Dickinson and Franz Wagner combined for 27 points and 18 rebounds while Chaundee Brown Jr. added 12 points off the bench. Michigan only made three 3-pointers on 11 turnovers but scored 50 points in the paint.

The Wolverines (23-4 overall) forced 14 turnovers and drew 22 fouls, bullying the Seminoles with a 76-58 win.’
