BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech could not outlast Barry’s offense performance despite close sets (25-21, 21-25, 25-15, and 25-23). Jocelyn Garcia’s impressive offensive showing led the team in hitting percentage (.429).

The Panthers played a close first set after going on a five-point run to take the lead 13-8 over Barry. The Buccaneers ultimately had the upper hand with a six-point run and later with a four-point run to take the set 25-21.

Florida Tech tied the game to one game apiece with a 25-21 victory.

Tech was playing a close game, and a five-point run rally gave them a 14-11 lead. Barry was able to tie the game, but the Panthers again went on a 7-2 run and took a 25-21 win.

Barry dominated the third set with a 25-15 victory. The Bucs started with a five-point run and never looked back for the remainder of the set.

The Crimson and Gray had an exciting fourth set going back-and-forth throughout. Tech hard-fought set would end with a pair of kills by Barry to finish it 25-23.

Jocelyn Garcia had an impressive nine kills with a .429 hitting percentage and recorded one solo block. Elena Ciulli also posted nine kills with an assist, a serve aces, two blocks, and five digs.

Audrey Keenan finished the night with eight kills, an assist, a serve aces, a block, and 12 digs.

Erin Arbour led the Panthers with 14 digs on the night, while Penelope Colombo and Anna Harry recorded 10 digs each.

Next: Florida Tech will conclude the spring season with a match against Rollins College on Saturday, April 17, at the Clemente Center. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. EST; streaming and live stats links will be provided prior to the event.
