No. 2 Tampa Spartans Sweep Florida Tech Baseball in Saturday Doubleheader 7-0, 1-0

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Tech baseball was swept in a doubleheader against No.2 Tampa 7-0, 1-0, on Saturday .
The Panthers (6-4) struggled to get any offense going as they posted just eight hits in both games.
In-game one, the Panthers recorded just four hits in nine innings and could not score a run. Raul Quintero, Rodnie Bernard, Dylan Owens, and Alec Eldridge were the only Panthers to record a base hit.
In-game two, Tech just recorded four hits once again. Two of the hits came from freshman outfielder Sam Schner who had a 2-for-3 game.
Justin Lorenz started the second game for Florida Tech, pitching five scoreless innings allowing two hits, and posting three strikeouts.
The Crimson and Gray will be back Thursday, March 25, to face Barry University at 4 p.m. from Andy Seminick Les-Hall Field.
