Police Arrest 26-Year-Old Suspect in Officer-Involved Shooting Incident in Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have arrested 26-year-old Joseph Martin Martinez officer-involved shooting that took place Sunday morning in the area of Malabar Road and St. Johns Heritage Parkway.

No officers were harmed in the incident.

Martinez, 26, is from Lake Worth, Florida

Police were asking residents in the area to shelter in place Sunday morning and afternoon.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Martinex will be booked into the Brevard County Jail.
