WATCH: ‘Hospitality Hustle 2-Miler Sunset Run’ Set for Today, Will Support Brevard Hospitality Workers

Chris along with Buz Underill owner of Squid Lips teamed up to form Hospitality Life.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Hospitality Life will host the family-friendly “Hospitality Hustle 2-Miler Sunset Run” on Thursday, March 18 to support Brevard’s hospitality industry workers who have been affected this past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This run/walk event will take place at The Avenue Viera from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Participants can sign up as an individual, team or sponsor. Adult tickets are $30 each, and children 12 or under can sign up for $15 each. A $3 signup fee will apply to all tickets.

After the sunset run, participants can enjoy a post-race celebration at The Avenue Viera’s Central Park during their monthly Thirsty 3rd Thursday event. This event will include live music, complimentary snacks and free drinks.

Hospitality Life is a community of local hospitality industry owners, operators and employees who provide helpful and generous resources, activities, and services in order to bring forward a more abundant life.

Through sponsorships and programs like “Feed the Need,” which provides free meals to out-of-work industry employees, Hospitality Life has and will continue to offer support through the difficult times caused by the pandemic.

Hospitality Life was founded in 2016 by Buz Underill, right, owner of Squid Lips Grill and Chris Conneen, owner of Pizza Gallery and 28 North. As a non-profit 501c3 organization, Hospitably Life’s purpose is to provide life-giving resources to the operators and employees of the hospitality industry. The organization strives to build community through its positive events, a website of resources, community outreach and social media connections.
