BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Protesters gather outside of Paws & Claws in North Merritt Island to protest animal cruelty. Space Coast Daily’s Giles Malone reports live on location interviewing Brevard County District 2 Commissioner Bryan Lober.

According to documents, Paws & Claws owner Jo Strabley’s animal care business license was revoked on Sept. 30, 2019, after a dog was severely injured while being groomed.

The business remains open under a new license opened in an employee’s name.
