American Advertising Federation Space Coast Honors Tessa Abel With 2021 Bill Hill Scholarship Award

Abel enrolled in Academy for Communications, Art and Design at Viera High
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The American Advertising Federation Space Coast has honored Viera High School senior Tessa Abel as the recipient of the $1,000 AAFSC Bill Hill Scholarship Award.
Abel is enrolled in the Academy for Communications, Art and Design at Viera High and plans to attend Eastern Florida State College next fall where she will major in Digital Media and Entertainment.
This scholarship was established by the Space Coast Chapter of the American Advertising Federation in honor of Hill, the club’s first chapter president.
Scholarship applicants are required to have a 3.5 cumulative GPA with an intent to pursue a degree in advertising or a related field of study.
“I’m incredibly excited to have our club leadership award this scholarship to a student who exemplifies a passion for creative endeavors, has an impressive scholastic resume, and showcased her talent as the youngest winner at this year’s American Advertising Awards,” said club president Stephanie Byrd.
“Ms. Abel is the type of student that Bill Hill would be proud of and we honor his memory and his legacy with this scholarship award. She will also receive a one-year membership to the club sponsored by Brevard Business News and a special place in the club’s history.”
The American Advertising Federation Space Coast is a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation and part of a nationwide network of 40,000 members, promoting positive awareness of the advertising industry while fostering professional growth for its members.
