BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Last night, our team had the pleasure of presenting our “It’s Time To Be A Parent Again” seminar to over 150 attendees at Coastline Community Church in Indian Harbour Beach.

The presentation that re-empowers parents to once again be the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in their child’s life, was developed by our agency as a tool for today’s parents who are responsible for raising the next generation of parents in our country.

Based upon the premise that “society has unintentionally robbed parents of their ability to be parents,” the presentation focuses on challenges of parenting today verses yesterday, the legalities of parenting, and a very powerful question and answer session with members of our Brevard County Sheriff’s Office “Chain Gang” who volunteer to help with the program.

By offering parents insight into what was missing in their lives that helped steer them down the wrong path, the “Chain Gang” answers any question from the parents about what was missing in their life, what could have made a difference in the direction they chose, and even, what parents can do to help keep their teenager from following in their footsteps and ending up in trouble.

I truly can’t thank the Pastor and team at Coastline Community Church enough for all they did to make last night’s seminar such a success and also Reserve Deputy Joe Downs for all he does to coordinate our seminars at various locations around the county.

And of course, a special thank you to everyone who attended last night’s presentation for partnering with us to help get to kids before they get to us!
