BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA — The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County is changing its COVID-19 vaccination strategy; effective Wednesday, April 28, appointments will no longer be required.

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be offered, based on availability, Monday – Friday from 8:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.

Those arriving for the vaccine will be provided directions upon entering the parking lot.

Brevard health officials said this shift will allow us to transition to an indoor environment before summer storms and higher temperatures negatively impact outdoor, drive-through operations.

Most importantly, DOH-Brevard will be more effective and will able to reach underserved populations through increased outreach events throughout the county.

Review the COVID Vaccine Fact Sheet and screening questions on the COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form prior to your arrival. Bring a completed COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form for more efficient service.
