Fed-Ex Truck Overturns on I-95 in Mims Saturday Morning Sending Delivery Packages, Debris into Roadway

crash happened around 1:20 a.m. 

Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash scene involving a Fed-Ex truck early Saturday morning on I-95 causing delivery packages and debris to be scattered along the roadway.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash scene involving a Fed-Ex truck early Saturday morning on I-95 causing delivery packages and debris to be scattered along the roadway in Mims.

The result of the crash caused I-95 to be shut down temporarily while crews worked to cleanup the scene.

The driver of the Fed-Ex truck suffered minor injuries.

According to FHP, the truck was headed southbound on I-95 near mile marker 228 around 1:20 a.m.  when the driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled into the grass median and struck a guardrail before flipping on its side and sliding across all lanes on northbound I-95.

The driver of the truck is identified as a 36-year-old man from Miami,

He was ticketed for Careless Driving.
