‘No Appointment Necessary’ Vaccination Operations Continue Today and Tuesday in Brevard County

The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County (FDOH-Brevard), in conjunction with Brevard County Emergency Management, has expanded hours from 4-7 p.m. today, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, for its COVID-19 vaccination efforts to provide no-appointment-necessary vaccinations at a drive-thru site at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County (FDOH-Brevard), in conjunction with Brevard County Emergency Management, has expanded hours from 4-7 p.m. today, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, for its COVID-19 vaccination efforts to provide no-appointment-necessary vaccinations at a drive-thru site at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.

Only first doses of the two-shot Moderna vaccine will be provided during these expanded hours. No appointments will be needed between 4-7 p.m. The no-appointment-necessary expanded hours are drive-through only, and those eligible must be 18 years of age or older.

The expanded hours are in addition to the first and second doses scheduled during normal 8:15 a.m.-4 p.m. operating hours. If you have an appointment or are called for an appointment, please arrive at your scheduled time.

The no-appointment necessary drive-thru is for first shots only. After your vaccination you will be provided an appointment card to receive your second dose at a later time.
