BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are set to headline ‘The Great Florida Air Show’ at Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) on Saturday, May 15, and Sunday, May 16.
“We are thrilled that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels have added Orlando Melbourne International Airport to their 2021 schedule,” said MLB Executive Director Greg Donovan.
“After six incredible air shows in just five years, we decided to take this last year off to strategize improving what we’ve already accomplished. By issuing a Request for Proposals last December, we were able to find and partner with one of the best air show production teams in the world.”
The Air Show Network is a leader in the industry and has been involved in over 1,000 air shows in its 37 years of existence. A few other air shows they produce include Nashville, San Francisco, Cape Cod, Denver and New Hampshire.
“We look forward to bringing this opportunity to our Melbourne Airport Authority board for approval and presenting our community and area visitors with the best air show yet at MLB,” said Donovan.
