BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking WATCH: Brevard County Sheriff’s Office ‘Fishing for Fugitives’ Seeks Suspect Christopher James Griffin in the latest edition of “Fishing for Fugitives,” as Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from Lee Wenner Park in Cocoa.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey is seeking Christopher James Griffin who is wanted for:

■ Violation of Probation REF False Imprisonment.

Sheriff Ivey says Griffin is known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” on July 4, 2020.

Griffin has no bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
