West Melbourne Man Arrested for Operating Illegal All-Male Strip Show at Sports Bar

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – West Melbourne police arrested a man Thursday night for operating an illegal all-male strip show at Westside Sports Bar & Grill.
The suspect, who is also the owner of the sports bar, is identified as 31-year-old Gary Kirby from West Melbourne.
The report says dancers were also conducting inappropriate behavior towards customers.
One of the violations flagged at the sports bar was a city ordinance that bans the display of male genitals.
According to authorities, Kirby mentioned he knew the operation was illegal when he was taken into custody and was previously warned by police about illegally operating a strip show.
Kirby was booked into the Brevard County Jail on a $250 bond.
He has been charged with operating an adult entertainment establishment in violation of municipal ordinance.
