BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Authorities in Brevard County are advising residents and visitors that there is a 3800-acre prescribed burn happening near Wickham Rd., west of I-95 and east of the St. Johns River.
Prescribed or controlled burning is a technique used in forest management, farming, or prairie restoration.
