Eastern Florida Women’s Soccer Heads to NJCAA National Championship Tournament as No. 3 Seed

Titans head into the tournament 9-0-1 on the season

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team is the No. 3 seed in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament beginning Thursday at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Georgia.

The Titans come into the tournament 9-0-1 on the season and will be in Group C with No. 6 seed Laramie County who is 13-1 and the Northwest Plains champion and No. 10 seed Kansas City Kansas CC who is 12-2-1 and an at-large selection.

Tyler Junior College is the No. 1 seed and is in Group A with No. 8 seed Indian Hills and No. 12 seed Spartanburg Methodist.

Salt Lake is the No. 2 seed and is in Group B with No. 7 Seminole State and No. 11 Butler.

Snow College is the No. 4 seed and in Group D with No. 5 seed Iowa Western and No. 9 Monroe Community College.

The tournament begins Thursday with pool play through Saturday. The team that wins each pool will advance to the semifinals on June 7 with the championship scheduled for June 8.

Blanchard Woods Park has five grass fields and fans can attend games for $10 per day or $50 for the entire tournament. Games will be played at either the stadium field or Field #4 for pool play games with the semifinals and final at the stadium. The park will also be hosting the Division II National Championship Tournament next week.

Fans that can’t make it to Georgia can watch the games live on www.njcaa.org/network for $10 per day or $25 for the tournament pass.
