Jacksonville Signs Florida Gator Legend Tim Tebow to One-Year Deal, Reunites With Coach Urban Meyers

(NFL.com) – Jacksonville Jaguars sign former QB-turned-TE Tim Tebow to a one-year deal.

Tim Tebow is on his way back to the NFL.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to sign the former quarterback this week or next to a one-year deal as a tight end, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero report.

Tebow is considered a long shot to make the roster, Pelissero added.

The 33-year-old Tebow has been out of the league since he was on the Eagles’ practice squad in 2015. He has not appeared in a game since 2012 with the Jets.
