Motorist Killed in Traffic Crash at Windover Way and Columbia Boulevard in Titusville

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning at the intersection of Windover Way and Columbia Boulevard in Titusville.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning at the intersection of Windover Way and Columbia Boulevard in Titusville.

According to the Titusville police, officers responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving two vehicles at about 9 .a.m.

“The preliminary investigation revealed the adult female victim, driving a 2020 white Honda Accord, attempted to cross Columbia Boulevard from Windover Way, failed to yield to oncoming traffic,” said Amy Matthews, Titusville Police DepartmentPublic Affairs Coordinator/Public Information Officer.

“The victim, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was subsequently struck on the driver’s side by a gold 2007 Hyundai Sonata traveling eastbound on Columbia Boulevard.”

The victim was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased.

The driver of the Hyundai and a juvenile passenger were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department.
