SpaceX Set to Launch Falcon 9 Rocket from Kennedy Space Center’s Historic Launch Complex 39A on Tuesday

SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday from the historic Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday from the historic Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

Launch is targeted for 3:01 p.m. ET.

The Starlink mission will carry around 60 satellites to space.

Following first-stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the booster engine on drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The 45th Weather Squadron weather forecast for Tuesday shows conditions are 80-percent favorable. The launch team is monitoring conditions for the booster recovery area in the Atlantic Ocean as conditions pose an increased moderate risk.
