A Whisker Away is an animated movie written by Mari Okada.  

The film explores the adventures of Miyo Sasaki, a student who is desperately in love with her classmate. In a bid to get the attention of her love, Miyo transforms herself into a cat. The story follows the relationship that emerges as a result of her transformation. 

Rilakkuma and Kaoru

Rilakkuma and Kaoru is a stop-motion animation series produced by Dwarf Studio and San-X. 

The show follows the life of the human character Kaoru and her roommate Rilakkuma, who happens to be a fuzzy toy bear. The two are joined at home by another toy bear and a pet chick, all of whom comically do their best to help Kaoru around the house. 

Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories

This Japanese Netflix show is based on the manga series by Yaro Abe. 

The story is set in a bar in the district of Shinjuku in Tokyo. The bar is notably only open from midnight until 7 a.m each day. Each episode of the show features a story from a different customer, with the owner of the bar imparting his wisdom to each. 

Erased

Erased is a live-action anime adaptation of a manga series by Kei Sanbe. 

The show follows the life of protagonist Satoru Fujinuma, a pizza delivery worker who is aspiring to become a manga author. Following a tragic accident, Satoru is transported back in time, and the adventure unfolds.
