WATCH: Former Holy Trinity Tiger and current New York Jets safety Marcus Maye trained with Brevard County football standouts on Friday afternoon and Space Coast Daily Sports editor Juan Rodriguez was there to get an update at Holy Trinity’s impressive new football field.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Former Holy Trinity Tiger and current New York Jets safety Marcus Maye trained with Brevard County football standouts on Friday afternoon at Holy Trinity’s impressive new football field.

Coach Eddie Mayes with Amayzing Elite Football Academy hosted Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Marcus Maye, along with former MCC Hustler and current Georgia Tech defensive back Zamari Walton and Cocoa Tiger Kionte Curry at the new athletic complex at Holy Trinity.

Maye is entering his fifth season in the NFL after signing the franchise tag with the New York Jets in the off season.

Walton, a defensive back, graduated from Melbourne Central Catholic in 2017 and is entering his redshirt junior season at Georgia Tech.

Curry is a three-star defensive back prospect and is committed to the University of Illinois.

2018 SPACE COAST SPORTS HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE: Florida Gator Safety Marcus Maye was named first-team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus and earned first-team All-American recognition from USA Today and PFF after the 2015 season. Mayes was a standout four-sport athlete at Holy Trinity and is now with the New York Jets.
