WATCH: Steve Wilson was live with the latest “Stories of Service” as Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 was at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport for the raising of the POW/MIA flag ahead of tomorrow’s ‘The Great Florida Air Show’ at the airport this weekend.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Steve Wilson was live with the latest “Stories of Service” as Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 1 was at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport for the raising of the POW/MIA flag ahead of tomorrow’s ‘The Great Florida Air Show’ at the airport this weekend.

Speakers during the flag-raising were Airport Executive Director Greg Donovan, Decorated Army Veteran/Melbourne Vice Mayor Tim Thomas and Rolling Thunder Vice President William Van Doren.

The Great Florida Air Show, presented by Northrop Grumman and produced by The Air Show Network will be held Saturday, May 15, and Sunday, May 16 at Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

A leading healthcare services provider on the Space Coast, Health First will distribute 1,000 tickets donated by The Great Florida Air Show to frontline workers within its network of over 9,000 associates.

Tickets will be available in sets of two or four on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally, the Air Show will recognize all frontline workers in attendance throughout the day.

AIRSHOW SCHEDULE

8 a.m. – Gates open. Static displays, vendors and exhibits open.
5 p.m. – Show ends.

Schedules for specific performances will not be released in advance. Performance times can change without notice. Aircraft appearing are subject to change due to many reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to, maintenance, weather, or other circumstances.

PARKING DETAILS

■ General parking is free.
■ Parking is on a first come, first served basis.
■ Please plan to arrive early to ensure a good parking spot.
■ Handicap parking is available.
■ Please have your state-issued placard or hang tag with you so that parking attendants can direct you to the appropriate parking area.
■ Upgraded Parking Passes can be purchased in advance on our TICKETS page.

NOTE: Air shows are large events, so please be aware that traffic may be heavy getting in and out from the show parking areas. Please follow signs for the air show. Traffic may be routed certain ways to accommodate the large volume of air show visitors and/or due to road closures.
