City of Palm Bay to Host Public Workshop June 29 Seeking Public Input On Comprehensive Plan

Palm Bay 2040 Vision will establish a set of objectives, goals and policies
Each meeting will be held in Palm Bay City Council Chambers, located at 120 Malabar Road SE, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay is seeking public input as it reviews and updates its comprehensive plan.
Known as Palm Bay 2040 Vision, this effort will establish a set of objectives, goals, and policies that will help leaders guide future growth and development to ensure a high quality of life and a resilient community for future generations.
The City has launched a Palm Bay 2040 Vision webpage at PalmBayFlorida.org/planning to solicit additional public input through a survey, an idea wall feature, voting, and a capital expenditure exercise.
Residents and community stakeholders are invited to visit www.palmbayflorida.org/planning and participate to make their voices heard as the City updates the comprehensive plan.
The City will be hosting a series of workshops to gather input from the public to help determine the goals and priorities represented in Palm Bay 2040 Vision.
The dates of the workshops are as follows:
■ Workshop 1: Where Are We Now? – June 29
■ Workshop 2: Where Do We Want To Go? – August 24
■ Workshop 3: How Do We Get There?- November 8
Each meeting will be held in Palm Bay City Council Chambers, located at 120 Malabar Road SE, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
For those unable to attend the in-person meeting, the workshop will also be available online and residents will have the opportunity to interact virtually.

The comprehensive plan is a long-range plan that helps guide the City’s future actions through clearly stated goals, objectives, and policies.
These policies inform local decision-making and set the tone for future growth and development in the community.
