Cocoa Beach Police Make Arrest After Multiple Vehicle Burglaries, Five Vehicles Stolen Throughout the City

Cocoa Beach Police advises citizens to always lock vehicle doors, remove valuables

In the past couple of weeks, there have been multiple vehicle burglaries and five vehicles stolen throughout the city of Cocoa Beach as police officers arrested a Cocoa juvenile for theft of a vehicle in the city’s north end. (CBPD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – In the past couple of weeks, there have been multiple vehicle burglaries and five vehicles stolen throughout the city of Cocoa Beach as police officers arrested a Cocoa juvenile for theft of a vehicle in the city’s north end.

The vehicles that were stolen have been recovered in the Cocoa area.

According to the Cocoa Beach Police Department, Cpl. Ron Betts and Detective Smith are actively working to identify others involved.

There was no forced entry to any of these vehicles and keys/fobs were believed to be left inside according to the Cocoa Beach Police Department.

The Cocoa Beach Police Department advises all citizens to always lock vehicle doors, close windows, remove valuables and any keys, and hide items from plain view.
